SCHOOL INFORMATION
GUIDANCE RECOMMENDATION
Upward Bound is a college preparatory program and will require you to share some information with us about you as a student. We will be reviewing your academic transcripts and collecting both a teacher and guidance recommendation to complete your Upward Bound Application. You will need help from your guidance office to complete this part of the application process.
THE INTERVIEW PROCESS
Once we have received your completed Upward Bound application materials, you will be contacted to schedule a brief student interview. This will allow the staff to get a little more information about yourself and how you feel the Upward Bound Program can assist you with your college search process.
If we determine your application meets the eligibility criteria and you are a good fit for the program, a second family interview will be scheduled. At this time we will meet to discuss program expectations, services, and answer any remaining questions before making a final decision about recruitment into the program.
